TV App : SWAC TV is live. Here’s everything you can watch now on the app

The SWAC made headlines last month at Football Media Day when it announced SWAC TV, a streaming service and app dedicated solely to SWAC athletics.

As of Friday, August 1, SWAC TV is live, and here is what you can find on the app ahead of football season.

SWAC TV can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple stores, as well as from the Smart TV platforms Roku, AppleTV, FireTV, and AndroidTV.

Once you have downloaded and opened SWAC TV, a list of menu options appears: “Search,” “Featured,” “Live & Upcoming,” “SWAC Championship Series,” “SWAC Sports,” and “About.”

When you click on the SWAC championship series item, you can watch every conference-sponsored tournament and championship from the 2024-25 season.

The “Featured” item includes a one-minute introduction to the app and a replay of SWAC Football Media Day.

“Live & Upcoming” lists the app’s football schedule through the third week of September, and SWAC Sports takes you to each conference-sponsored sport.

The app appears to be a great one-stop shop for all things SWAC, providing convenience and choice for fans, stakeholders, and curious observers.

“When you get down to the end of the season, no one knows which games are going to be significant,” SWAC commissioner Charles McClelland told HBCU Sports last month. “Anyone can guess, but now, you don’t have to choose. It’s just a matter of which platform.”

From the looks of it, the SWAC TV platform will be a go-to for HBCU football and sports fans this coming season.
